《 統一地方選挙の告示にあたって 》

皆さん、こんにちは。
谷合正明です。

本日、統一地方選挙の道府県会、政令市会選挙が告示されました。

公明党は道府県会議員選挙に170人、政令市議会議員選挙に172人、計342人を擁立しました。うち女性候補者は64人となり、前回に比べ1.5倍に増加、また新人候補は89人となり、前回に比べ1.4倍に増加しました。さらに岡山県会議員選挙の倉敷市・都窪郡選挙区のように候補者を増やし、議席増に挑むところもあります。

今回の選挙は、長引くコロナ禍や物価高騰の影響から住民生活と地域経済を守るとともに、人口減少の課題解決や災害に強い地域づくりに向け、地方政治の担い手をどの政党・政治家に託すかを決める重要な選挙です。

公明党には、「小さな声を聴く力」と「国会議員と地方議員のネットワーク力」があります。選挙戦を通じて、公明党が進めた電気・ガス料金引き下げ、低所得世帯支援、自治体ごとの対策推進、また子育て支援策等の実績と政策を訴えていきます。

中・四国はじめ全国各地の選挙区で公明候補は緊迫した局面にあります。しかし断じて負けるわけにはいきません。皆様には大変にお世話になりますが、何卒格段のお力添えを賜わりますよう、お願い申し上げます。
